Hello friends, I am from Turkey. I have a 2010 Forester 2.0 TD 280K. I am third owner and very happy with my car. My DPF was deleted and EURO 4 engine was replaced with EURO 5 engine under warranty.

Welcome to our foreign corner. I really doubt that boxer diesels in Turkey are "very few" but I am sure Subaru has a strong fan base there. With countless terrains, trail paths and lots of off-road communities, your country provides a staggering adventure possibilities for all kind of vehicles. I really hope one day I could overland in Turkey and escape from the overcrowded touristic destinations. I have been to many countries with a car (not for off roading) but prior to planning of any journey I always search for the local Subaru community and its forum. Because Subaru forums and their members around the globe are extremely supportive and this is where you can ask for help or obtain specific information on many subjects.

Thank you for welcoming here. Yes Subaru users very helpful here. I think the brand has a chracter that atracts almost same kind of users. I speak for forester and outback owners. For the non suv models,it seems mosty atract fast driver types.
